This book was SO interesting. It was a little slow at times, and took me a little while to get fully invested, but the characters are really interesting and the whole world is unique to me. (Albeit a bit complicated.) I feel like I could see it being a really intriguing tv show.

I saw some of the plot twists coming, and some I didn’t. Im definitely intrigued and ready for Book 2!

I really enjoyed this book! Sarah J Maas fans will enjoy.
It was a little bit predictable (main character having a hidden identity, discovering her own powers, enemies to lovers, lovers having some kind of deeper connection (ie: mates but I don’t think there are mates in this world.) The magic system is very cool. (If not a little hard to keep track of.) The end of this book definitely had me intrigued for the rest of the series.

This book just didn’t sit right with me. The whole approach to her SA recovery made me really uncomfortable. There were far too many cliches. And I immediately lost interest after the couple got together.

This book made me realize the bully trope is absolutely not for me, and neither is high school angsty romance. Bye.

I hardly finished this book.

I was intrigued by the description, and it started off strong, but my main issue with this book is that the plot moved along faster than the character development so I didn't care what was happening at all. Plot without character connection means nothing to me. I will not be reading the next book.

This book was cute but forgettable. Jason Thorn also kind of sucks.
