I have read a fair share of werewolf/shifter romance and this one was just kind of gross and distressingly over the top.

I prefer when the story and characters are the main parts of the book not the gimmick (wewolf/alpha). Also it feels like it just devolved into aggressive porn at a certain point.

This is sad because initially I really enjoyed the characters. I had high hopes for this book.

I hate one of the main characters. I also believed this was a mystery book which it is not. It is not my type of book and I was half bored half annoyed when I decided to stop.

There wasn't anything wrong with the way this book was written. It just wasn't the book I expected based in reviews and reading the description. I expected a funny adventurous book and instead it was heavily about politics and intrigue. Had I realized what kind of book this was I probably wouldn't have picked it up.

I enjoyed this story. I like the characters and the adventure and I will definitely read more of this author.
I don't like sad endings though and this one was definitely sad.

This book was perfection. The story very easily could have gone to bad places considering the conflict but never did anyone get too mean or act in a way that wasnt relatable.great characters great stories great voice.

This would probably have been close to a 5* book if the ending had been different. I loved it so much, I thought the premise and the way the book was laid out was great. I loved the funny writing style and the main characters. I have a huge crush on Fluer and I thought the relationships around Kate were well done and realistic. However, I will never forgive the ending.

I liked the majority of this book. I haven't read the previous one. I don't know if that makes a difference. But I ended up not liking the end. I guess it felt like there was conflict that didn't need to be there. Or possibly I needed to see more of the mmc resolution rather than a flash forward several months. But the actual romance and characters were really enjoyable.

I loved Josh and Hazel! They were different and yet I loved both of them equally. It also made me reflect on my relationship with my husband. Sometimes when I'm being weird I ask if I should stop or if I'm embarrassing him. And he's always like no go have fun and enjoy yourself 😊 Anyways I loved this book so much.

It was a little slow going at parts. And I struggled with the switching between the fairy book and the mcs life. But I'm happy I read it and I particularly enjoyed the characters of the Faye world.
