Wow, Nisha Sharma really outdid herself with this one! I absolutely loved this book and didn’t want to put it down. I loved Bobbi and Bunty- I think they had such great chemistry and really understood each other. I loved their banter and seeing how their dynamic evolved over the course of the book. I felt that the 3rd act breakup was very realistic and it definitely had me tearing up. Honorable mention to the secondary plot: we love a wedding especially one that is chaotic and full of shenanigans. I really enjoyed this fun twist of the shaadi saboteur. And don’t let me forget to let you all know that this book has some quality spice just like Dating Dr. Dil featuring some rope play (fans of Dirty Rowdy Thing take note and pick up this book). I absolutely recommend this book, this is a perfect summer romcom!

This is a sexy summer romance that is great for fans of yachting and Below Deck. I will say this book is not as strong as other books I’ve read by Kandi Steiner like the Red Zone Rivals series. I was left wanting more out of the book. Aspen and Theo have a connection that pulls them together but I wanted a little more emotional depth to it, it seemed very surface level. This book also toes the line with cheating so that may be a turn off for some readers. Despite this I did enjoy reading this book, it had me wishing I was on the deck of a book with a drink in hand.

Meet Me at the Lake

Carley Fortune

DID NOT FINISH: 43%

I wanted to like this book but I honestly just could not get into the story. I did not find Will and Fern to be a believeable pairing. They didn’t have chemistry. I don’t see how the foundation of this relationship was spending one day together. Not a second chance romance I can get behind. I liked Jamie much more and wish he had gotten more page space. Unfortunately this book was not for me.

I definitely enjoyed Unfortunately Yours more than Secretly Yours. This book is supposed to be an enemies to lovers marriage of convenience. While the marriage is convenient this book is a little weak on the enemies aspect. August and Natalie clearly both like each other the entire time and just have playful arguments that occasionally cross the line. The conflicts in this book could’ve been more fleshed out, it seemed everything was quickly resolved. That being said I did enjoy reading this book. Natalie and August are cute and you will find yourself rooting for them right away. August brings all the big protective teddy bear vibes. I would  recommend this book for anyone looking for a fluffy read.

I went into this book looking for a lighthearted and funny romance across the globe but unfortunately this one fell flat for me. I found the FMC Dylan pretty unlikeable for most of the book. She was pretty harsh to Jack early on in book making lots of assumptions without getting to know him well. I also found her to be pretty careless online (shocking considering what has happened to her in the past). Jack and Dylan didn’t have much chemistry which also made connecting with the story more difficult. This book also features storylines surrounding online harassment and toxic relationships with parents so go into the book knowing that it isn’t all fun romcom energy. I would recommend this book for fans of social media culture and travel.

Holy hotness! I love the bodyguard trope and this book was absolutely perfection. This story was so compelling I couldn’t put it down. I really liked Shay she felt very relatable despite being a famous actress. I equally liked Damien our very protective bodyguard. The chemistry and understanding between the two of them was off the charts. He truly would do anything for her.
And when we found out he slept outside her bedroom after her parents died in case she needed him?? Swooning!
. Their story is dramatic and romantic and spicy as hell. I will say Shay’s friend Veronica got on my nerves at times, she felt less supportive than she should’ve been. It felt like constantly pushing Shay to go out and party guilting her when she wasn’t interested. Aside from that this book truly delivered a top tier bodyguard romance. I recommend this book for fans of the movie The Bodyguard, bonus that this one has an HEA for the couple instead!

Devney Perry can do no wrong in The Edens series! This one has a particularly compelling story with the plot surrounding an attempted murder and previous crimes committed outside of Quincy. I really enjoyed reading about Lyla and Vance. It was nice seeing their relationship evolve into something deeper. It was clear Vance was a goner when he finally opened up about his life and family something he clearly had been bottling up inside for over 4 years. The suspenseful storyline did keep me guessing at different  points which I loved. I definitely recommend this book (and series). I’m excited to read the final book when it is released.

I love The Edens series by Devney Perry and this novella set in the same universe was a fun quick read. I’m a fan of  bodyguard romances, throw in some forced proximity and one bed and let the love declarations fly! I enjoyed reading about Cleo and Austin. Their dual POV with their respective crushes/pining before they finally admitted neither of them hated the other was great. I recommend this for people looking for a fun and festive story.

What a fun prequel about the parents from The Edens series! I couldn’t help but smile as I read this short story. The chemistry between Anne and Harrison was clear and their banter was great. What’s not to love about a second chance romance with forced proximity and the one bed trope? Definitely recommend fans of the series give this one a read!

I really enjoyed this book! It gave everything you want out of a small town single dad/nanny romance. The tension, the pining, the trying to resist the chemistry! I’m such a sucker for a grumpy dad who is a toasted marshmallow for the FMC (and his kiddos) and Asher was just *chef’s kiss* I loved Phoebe and Olivia’s relationship it was so sweet and genuine. I enjoyed the progression of Asher and Phoebe’s relationship I really developed into something deep and meaningful- such tender love and care was clear between the two of them. I was swooning over how kind and supportive Asher was. Honorable mention to Asher’s siblings and the guest appearance of Emmeline from The Cloverleigh Farms series (such a fun surprise!). I definitely would recommend this book to readers looking for a sweet, spicy, and swoony romance!
