I really enjoyed this book! It gave everything you want out of a small town single dad/nanny romance. The tension, the pining, the trying to resist the chemistry! I’m such a sucker for a grumpy dad who is a toasted marshmallow for the FMC (and his kiddos) and Asher was just *chef’s kiss* I loved Phoebe and Olivia’s relationship it was so sweet and genuine. I enjoyed the progression of Asher and Phoebe’s relationship I really developed into something deep and meaningful- such tender love and care was clear between the two of them. I was swooning over how kind and supportive Asher was. Honorable mention to Asher’s siblings and the guest appearance of Emmeline from The Cloverleigh Farms series (such a fun surprise!). I definitely would recommend this book to readers looking for a sweet, spicy, and swoony romance!

Wow this book really packs a punch! One the one hand it has probably the sweetest kid in a single parent romance ever and in the other hand it had this dark mysterious secondary plot where the MMC is trying apprehend a murderer. I really enjoyed this book (I couldn’t stop reading!). I liked Paisley she loved hard and has such an open heart, much like little Evelyn. Their bond was really sweet and touching. I feel like there wasn’t quite enough resolution with Caleb
I needed him to forgive himself and see that he is worthy of love, this needed a little more page time dedicated after the kidnapping
. I also did find it so annoying that he kept calling Paisley a reckless angel- so not a hot term of endearment. That being said I did enjoy this book and would definitely recommend it. I’m very interested in seeing what happens next in book 2!

Cowboy take me away! I truly can’t believe this is Lyla’s debut novel, it was absolutely fantastic! I could not put this book down it was so compelling. I love Emmy and Luke- together and separately. Emmy really brought out this soft side of Luke that had me swooning. He was so thoughtful and sweet and kind. Emmy was one of those FMCs that you just want to be friends with. Now don’t get it twisted while this book offers up the sweet small town/ranch romance we all love it also delivers on the spice. This book really was very well balanced. Honorable mention to Teddy who was my favorite of the other characters, I am dying to read a book with her as the FMC. I need everyone to go download this book immediately.

Elsie Silver our ranch romance queen can do no wrong! I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down. I found Winter and Theo’s story very compelling. I really enjoyed their dynamic and their banter. Theo was so sweet and supportive, always making sure he was what Winter needed. He so kindly reinforced his love and combatted her negative internalized narrative. Also shout out for being an acts of service king. I also really liked Winter, she had a lot of depth. I appreciated that based on her upbringing lashing out at people was a defense mechanism. I was so happy she finally had someone in her corner defending her. And can we talk about the two of them with Vivi? Just the sweetest little family. This book was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. I need everyone to read this book immediately!

I’m not much of a historical romance girlie (I usually find them clunky and hard to dive into) but I do enjoy Adriana Herrera’s Las Leonas series. I feel like this series could make for a cool adaptation. I liked Manuela and Cora, while very different they both were women you rooted for. You wanted them to find themselves and choose the life that actually would make them happy (as individuals and together!). Honorable mention to the fun interesting historical tidbits like the labor organizing of artists! I think this book is a solid romance and would recommend it for those wanting to branch out into historical romances. I am excited for book 3 because we love a historical enemies to lovers vibe!

I surprisingly found myself unable to put this book down. I don’t generally read much fantasy but found this world easy to read and follow. All of the characters were quite likable and as a reader I found myself rooting for all 4 of the mates. This book is definitely smutty but there is emotional connections between all of the characters. There is also a sub-plot involving stalking by an ex. I recommend this for folks looking for a spicy fantasy read!

This book was a slow start for me but I am so glad I stuck with it because I ended up really really enjoying this one! These characters did not start strong, but once they had some time to marinate you found yourself relating and rooting for the both of them. Keeley and Graham balanced each other out so well. Once they really gave each other a chance they truly saw the other and were exactly what they needed. I found myself tearing up numerous times in the second half of this book. This one turned out to be more emotional than you’d expect from the way the story began. This book is perfect for fans of accidental pregnancy and Vegas wedding tropes. Definitely give this one a chance!

This book was not as strong as the previous books in the series. I think this one would’ve really benefitted from being dual POV. Ben’s POV would’ve helped balance out Gemma. One thing that I really struggled with was Gemma’s strong dislike for Ben, it honestly didn’t seem like the punishment fit his alleged crime when he started at the firm. I feel like Gemma was so harsh to him for most of the book. I wanted to see her open up more before the book’s end. During the 3rd act conflict I expected the two of them to open up more but it seemed pretty one sided. I just wanted more vulnerability from the characters like we got out of books 1 and 2. I am still looking forward to continuing on with the series. This book is really for fans of enemies to lovers with harsh banter.

At the start of this book I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it as much as The Deal With The Devil but this book really ended up delivering! The second half of the book gets some action (and the characters do too). What starts off as enemies/grumpy-sunshine vibes pretty quickly evolves into a friendship with feelings. Thank god this book was dual POV- I needed to know Josh’s thoughts. Obsessed with how deeply he cares for and wants to protect Drew. He’s so ernest as the book progresses which is sweet and hot. This book honestly had me tearing up at points. Elizabeth O’Roark is so good at writing books that are emotional, dramatic, with a little spice to boot. I for sure would recommend this book. I’m excited to read Ben’s story next!

Wow I could not put this book down! I really really enjoyed this one, it was a perfect mix of emotion/vulnerability, pining/lust, and banter. *Chef’s kiss* to this boss assistant romance!! Tali and Hayes have a great dynamic, one that I loved seeing develop into a friendship and more over time. I love when the MMC is head over heels and wants to do anything and everything for the FMC and Hayes definitely delivers even if it is a little under wraps. I think Tali and Hayes’s respective baggage and histories were very realistic particularly how they served as barriers to them committing. The third act breakup definitely had me in my feelings which made the grand gesture all the more rewarding. I absolutely recommend this book and am excited to continue on in the series!
