This book packs some heavy material. The short stories are all interconnected as they have the same characters across different time points (though not written in sequential order). I usually struggle to get into short story compilations and that was true for this book as well especially with the heavier content. I wish the stories were a little more separate content/character wise or that the book was written as a continuous novel. That being said the characters have a lot of depth and I found myself wanting to see what would happen next. I still would recommend giving this a read though!

Melanie Harlow strikes again! I loved this book. Zach and Millie’s story is hot and sweet at the same time. Unlike most of the other Cloverleigh Farms books this one gets spicy right near the beginning. I liked the dynamic between Zach and Millie, you could feel the tension and chemistry between them. The barriers making their romance “forbidden” were definitely realistic and understandable. I would absolutely recommend this book!

I enjoyed this why choose romance from Tessa Bailey. I had a hard time getting into it at first because I found Elise very annoying. I got more into the story as we got to meet Tobias, Banks, and Gabe. I feel like the spice in this book was better than the arching plot, which helped bump it up to a 4 for me. While not my favorite Tessa Bailey book I’d still recommend it!

This book is the perfect spicy Christmas romance for fans of Legally Blonde! I absolutely loved this book. The concept was a fun twist on the movie where Abbie seeks revenge on her ex by dating his boss. I absolutely adored Damien, he was so kind and reassuring and handled Abbie’s past traumas with care. I loved their dynamic. I really enjoyed this book and had so much fun reading it. I 100% recommend this read!

This book is a cute sapphic small town Christmas romance. And while I can appreciate the cliches in a Hallmark Christmas movie I was hoping this book would have strayed a little off that path. I enjoyed the book overall but it fell a little flat and boring for me. I wasn’t as invested as the story as I had hoped. That being said I hope this leads to more sapphic holiday romances!

Wow, this is the perfect holiday read! This book is the cross between a cozy and sweet Hallmark movie and smut. This book is doing the most- an ex-boyband member and an adult film star who are set to film what is essentially a Hallmark Christmas movie. And they both have crushes on each other from their work so mutual pining! I loved Bee and Nolan, they had a great dynamic and you found yourself immediately rooting for them. Honorable mention to the side characters in this book because they added another layer of fun. I am so excited that this is the first in a series and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. I would highly recommend this holiday read!

I absolutely loved this book, a perfect addition to the Bromance Book Club series! Despite being famous Colton is really grounded and sweet. It was clear how deeply he cared for Gretchen right from the start. Gretchen is a “grumpy” immigration lawyer who desperately wants to help others and make a difference. I enjoyed their dynamic and banter. And let’s not forget Colton’s pining. I highly recommend this book for fans of grumpy sunshine and famous person tropes- bonus points for it taking place at Christmas!

This is not your average light celebrity memoir as Matthew Perry mainly focuses on his struggles with addiction throughout the duration of the book. I will say the pacing and chronology were off which made following the storyline more difficult. At times the chapters were very long. The book bounces around with time points and time frames which can be quite confusing. I will say he doesn’t seem to hold back details and often shows some self awareness amongst moments of reflection. I would recommend this book but only if the reader can handle such detailed focus on addiction, drug use, and alcoholism.

What a cute and cozy holiday romance! This one is great for fans of messy drama and sweet romances. I personally am obsessed with Jack’s taste in music I need her playlist. Honorable mention to Meemaw and Lovey who give the best kooky grandma energy possible. I really enjoyed this book I think it is well balanced with outer and inner conflict for the couple. I feel like this could be a really fun holiday film. I would absolutely recommend this Christmas romance!

This book is a quick and easy read. While enjoyable I do wish it packed a little more excitement. The book runs pretty flat overall though the insight into her relationship with Richard and the following grief after his passing was moving.
