If Our Bodies Could Talk by James Hamblin

This book makes some big topics really easy to digest. It’s also a great pickup/put down book - there’s no hiccup if you haven’t read it in a while or only have time for a few pages. I liked it, and would suggest it to anyone looking to have a better understanding about how we function as humans.
Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins

What a fun, uplifting read. Filled with romance, philosophy, humor, wit, and outrageous plot developments. Totally recommend as an easy, grab and go kind of read.

I was surprised by how much more I enjoyed the story in the book than the movie. There’s so much more depth and plot development, it’s not a one note song about hunting the shark. Quite a quick and easy read.
Do You Mind If I Cancel? (Things That Still Annoy Me) by Gary Janetti

A hilarious and quick read. His voice is so fluid and colloquial that reading this is a breeze and feels like you’re listening to stories from a friend in person. Not really deep by any means, but the small anecdotes from his life are entertaining.
My only uncertainty was that there seemed to be no string or reasoning for the order of the stories. I’m not sure it needed one, but that felt a little bit like a miss to me.

Such a great read. Filled with knowledge, honesty, depth, and so much more. Her perspective as an herbalist, a teacher, a Native American woman, all intersect really beautifully to give you a really beautiful journey throughout all the stories in the book.
