I had to read Where are the Children before the next one came out. I was surprised the book came out in 1975. The plot is fast but rich with details that keep you on the edge of your seat. You won’t be able to put it down.

Another amazing read from Noelle Salazar. An touching story of two sisters during WW2 and their fight with the resistance. Noelle does an amazing job with vivid imagery and haunting historical details so accurate you will feel like you are there with them.

The sequel to the popular Where are the Children is a page turner like the first. A sweet little girl goes missing and the nightmare begins again for this family. The book does a great job catching you up if you haven’t read the first one. You are left guessing until the very end. If you think you have it figured out, just wait!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.
DNF at 35%.  The jumping timelines were confusing and hard to follow. The featured love story didn't seem needed nor the pointing out of multiple same sex relationships.  It felt awkward. I wanted more about the libraries,  books, and librarians.

A domestic suspense that will keep you guessing throughout the book. I really enjoyed this one and couldn’t put it down. The dueling points of view and short chapters made it a quick read. I wasn’t loving the characters like I usually do in a book but I did enjoy the story line.

WOW! This is my second book from Mary Kubica and I loved every minute of it. I was left guessing all the way through. The suspense, mystery and shock were there throughout the book. When you think you have it all figured out something happens and your mind is blown.
The dueling timelines played with my ADHD brain a little but I quickly got into a groove and sped through this book.

I have found fiction books tough to pick and wasn’t sure if I would like this one at first. I quickly fell in love with Iona and her fellow commuters. I loved reading about each of the commuters and how their lives intertwined. It was a quick and light hearted read that I recommend to anyone.

If you love books about the love of books this one is for you. Clara Button is a lovable character that endures the hardships of war while keeping reading alive for the people in the subway. So much was based on real events. You will fall in love with each character that comes by the library. You will laugh, cry and rejoice with them all. A must read!

Sweet Sallie Kincaide gets knocked down time and time again but continues to fight. This historical fiction was a great read. This story was about family, determination and fight for survival. I also loved that the story was based in Virginia where I grew up.
