Weak characters, not explored deeply
Simple writing
plot was not the most believable and the progression was confusing
Weak explanation of the issue/world
Forgettable
Good as a YA book, not adult

So glad I got a copy of this to review before its release - thank you Netgalley.
This was such an interesting read and completely not what I expected... I dont know why. I really enjoyed the main characters but I do wish Cecilie was more fleshed out especially since this book is written in alternating POV chapters. Our main characters are unlikeable and we follow them as they are on vacation in Cecilie's home country of Denmark.
The plot is strange and a little bit thriller-y. This book explores relationships, regrets and what-if scenarios. We see our main characters interact with various people like first loves, old friends, and family.
The writing style is straight-forward and chapters short so it really gripped me.
I'd recommend this if you're looking for a guide on how to not treat your child, partner, friends, and family lol

would’ve been perfect if it took less time for the MCs to interact
