I suppose I never will entirely love Ali Hazelwood’s books, but I do enjoy them. That also goes for this one, the smutty scenes were especially enjoyable to be honest.

My rating is purely based on how I’ve enjoyed this book. I haven’t really read any erotica before but I think that genre isn’t for me. I like a bit more plot in my books. It definitely was interesting to read though, but at the same time it also was slightly boring.

The story itself was fine, but the ending was kind of predictable and a bit mediocre. I do like how those little cliffhangers at the end seem to be a constant.

I didn’t realize this book is part of a series until I finished it, but I think you can easily read this book as a standalone as well. Overall I feel pretty indifferent about this book though.

Alexis was a bit too naive for my liking and Noah had too much anger in him. His protectiveness was also getting on my nerves, even when he was right to a certain extent. This one wasn’t my favorite in the series.

This was a cute and heartwarming read. Even though I’ve read this in the summer, I think it’s a really cute Holiday romance.

Even though I knew how this would end, it still made me really sad. Reading this made me excited about Reckless though. I hope we also get to see more of Mak.

Maybe I shouldn’t have picked this one up so soon after reading The Awakening, but this was boring and not necessary at all. I don’t think it added that much, as the first book already gave a lot away about the boys’ their motivation to do what they did.

Even though it took quite a while before the mystery actually started, I still had a fun time reading this book. It also made me crave ice cream really badly.

I had a good time reading this book, but why was it so long though? Either way, Ellie’s involvement with Nico was heartwarming. All characters had some good growth as well.
