The twist and the ending to this story were so good, but it just took way too long before the story actually got to a good pace. By that time I was already so annoyed with all the characters, even though it made sense in the end.

The ending was absolutely wild and most of it I didn’t see coming. The ending kept on giving too. Although this story was nowhere realistic, I just couldn’t stop reading.

I really like Kenji and this novella made me really excited to dive into book 5. I really should get to it asap.

I didn’t really enjoy the story because I wasn’t quite vibing with Emily. I suppose I get where she came from, but I thought her behavior was mostly very immature. I did really like Jack though and some things that happened were funny.

Even though I thought the mystery itself was a bit mediocre, the story was very funny and humorous.

It was fun but I didn’t love it. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Pearl, mainly because she lied a lot by omission. Even though I do get why she did it. I did really like how she learnt more about her cultural background and about her family.

This was a nice conclusion to the series, everything was wrapped up pretty neatly. Even though I do wish to know what Claudia will decide with regards to the prince.

I liked how there was more of a focus on the mystery again. Though I do have to say that the ending/climax was a tiny bit confusing to me.
