This was a fun read but it started off a bit too slow for me. That’s also why it took me quite long to finish reading it, because I just lost interest.

Dit was weer een hartverwarmend verhaal. Het concept was redelijk hetzelfde, maar het was leuk dat het dit keer ging om voornamelijk andere personages.

This was a very enjoyable story and I definitely get why Finley wanted revenge. I don’t necessarily think that was the worst thing she could do but it was fun to see her growth as a person. I also definitely felt bad for Theo, she could’ve given him the benefit of the doubt.

Midnights: 3⭐️, it was fun enough.
The lady and the fox: 1⭐️, maybe I’m stupid but this story made zero sense to me.
Angels in the snow: 2⭐️, I wished that there was a little more depth in the mmc.
Polaris is where you’ll find me: 2.5⭐️, I didn’t really like the open ending.
It’s a Yuletide miracle: 3⭐️, this was cute.
Your temporary Santa: 3⭐️, this one wasn’t great but also not horrendous.
Krampuslauf: 3⭐️, it was kinda weird but also kinda cool?
What the hell have you done, Sophie Roth?: 3⭐️, this was cute.
Beer buckets and baby Jesus: 2⭐️, I liked the sentiment but this wasn’t my cup of tea.
Welcome to Christmas, CA: 5⭐️, I loved the concept and the story itself was so heartwarming.
Star of Bethlehem: 4⭐️, this story ended up being surprisingly heartwarming.
The girl who woke the dreamer: 1⭐️, this was not my cup of tea at all.

Ik vond Margrethe geen leuk persoon om over te lezen. Dat ze heel negatief was dat vond ik nog tot daar aantoe, maar ze was ook heel neerbuigend en dat stond mij heel erg tegen.

This was a fun and easy book to get through. I liked the characters, but I couldn’t see more than physical attraction between the two. I didn’t really see an emotional connection and the lack of communication was sometimes quite irritating.

Het verhaal zelf was wel goed geschreven, maar het was gewoon niet aan mij besteed. Aan de ene kant vond ik het een interessant verhaal door het onderwerp, maar aan de andere kant vond ik er vrij weinig aan door alle details.

Definitely not a literary masterpiece and it for sure was somewhat predictable, but I had such a good time reading this book. I really liked Alosa and her humor and I just loved her ‘relationship’ with Riden.

This book was unnecessarily long but I did have a fun time reading it. This book for sure wasn’t groundbreaking though.
