This book tells a hard but powerful story and one that feel is so important to read. I'm gonna be honest this book is going to be hard for some to read but if you have read the trigger warnings for this book and you feel like you are in the right headspace for it I highly recommend giving it a read.
When you read this book make sure to bring some tissues and that you are not out in public because this book devasted me! I was bawling my eyes out though the whole entire second half of this book.

Though I did really enjoy this book, I am gonna be honest and say I expected to give it a way higher rating due to all the praise this books gets but sadly if fill short for me. I can’t really give you a reason why I feel this way, I just kinda do (sorry, that's the best I got.)
I do wish this book was told in split POVS and that Ryle’s anger issues and mental problems where talked about and delt with a little more. I feel that there wasn't as much development between Lily and Atlas, though I love Atlas, he is my husband and I totally ship him and Lily. I also cringed so hard through every “letter” to Ellen, I would have much rather had a flashback or just a normal journal entry. I think if she had told the story of Lily's past in flashbacks it would have helped with my whole development problem. The last problem I had with this book was the timeline, she skip’s big chunks of time throughout the story which made it feel a little rushed in my opinion.

Overall, I really did enjoy this book. I liked the writing style and it kept me engaged throughout the story. I have grown to love this characters and can't wait to read more about them in the next book.

Every Heart A Doorway by Seaman MeGuire is the first Novella in the Adult gothic fantasy series Wayward Children.

I'm so impressed with what MeGuire did with this book! It has such an interesting premise and the writing was fantastic. It's a very fast pace and easy to digest book with characters that are incredible interesting.

Tropes: MFM Relationship

The Girl In Between Us by Miranda Silver is the second book in the next door series and continues off where the last one finished and follows Diana as she explores her new relationship with one of the twins next door Ian O’Briain and also deals with her complicated feelings for his twin brother Brendan.

I have officially read every book that Miranda Silvers has released! She has quickly made her way up my list of favorite smutty romance authors, I love how she is able to create extremely steamy stories but still has characters and romances that you can’t help but fall in love with.
I really enjoyed getting to see Diana and Ian in a committed relationship and watching them grow though I don’t feel like this book was a hundred percent necessary, I don’t know I just feel like it would have been fine as a novella rather than a full-length novel because at moments it could be a little slow and could drag at moments.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and felt like it was a good continuation of the first book and gave me a good closure to Diana and Ian’s story and I’m extremely excited for Brendan’s book.

It was good. I liked the writing, and the spice is very good. It just didn't hold my attention very long and took me a while to read... I don't it just wasn't amazing as I wanted it to be but it was still good.

Just One Night by Gayle Forman is the novella for the Just One series and it shows you a glimpse of what happened between Allyson and Willem when they were finally reunited.
I’m so glad Gayle Forman wrote this little novella because it adds some need closure to this series and I now feel very at peace with this series and how it ended.

Just One Year by Gayle Forman is the companion novel to Just One Day and it tells the story of Willem and his year apart from his Lulu.

Just like Allyson's story, this book isn't just about finding lost love, it's also about finding yourself but that's not all it's also about finding your family again, it's about finding lost platonic love not just romantic love.
I loved watching the relationship between Willem and his mother grow and mend. It was very beautiful to read and tells a very important story about the love of a parent and how it's always there even if we don't always see it.
Even though this book isn't necessary to read after the first book, I highly recommend it because it tells you more about who Willem is and it adds so much more to his character. Not only does it add so much more to Willems character but it also adds so much to Just One Day as a whole, because you get to see how Willem felt after that day and you get to see all the times that they were so close to each other but had no idea about it.
I love Forman’s writing, it's just so poetic and beautiful. This book has confirmed the fact that I will be reading some more of Gayle Forman’s work.
The only thing I didn't love about this book was the fact that it got a little slow towards the middle and some of the scenes seemed unneeded.

Overall, I loved this book and would honestly say that I found it better than the first book Just One Day. I’m excited to read more of Gayle Forman's works

Though this book wasn't really for me, it's just a trope that I'm not the biggest fan of but it was really well written and I did enjoy reading it.

I've tried to read graphic novels before (yes I am aware they graphic novels and mangas are two different things) and I always found that I did really love them but I have I've been interested in trying Mangas for a while now. I recently got a library and when I saw this there, I decided to check it out and give it a try bc I know it is a very popular one.
I'm honestly surprised that I actually enjoyed reading it. The reason I don't like graphic novels that much is because I find it hard to connect with the characters and the story in general but I found that wasn't really a problem with this Manga. Normally I just feel eh about characters in graphic novels bc I normally feel like I don't know much about them to say if I like them or not. With the Black Butler, I could say that I really enjoyed certain characters.
I will be honest, I'm still not 100% on what exactly happened in this book and what its plot was but I will say that the end piqued my interest and I'm actually excited to continue with this series and maybe try some other Mangas.

The Boys Next Door by Miranda Silver is the first book in the Next Door series and follows Diana Cooper who used to be best friend with the two identical twins- Brendan and Ian O'Brien- who live next door to her but she ends up moving away for a year and when she moves back she avoids the twins for the rest of high school or at least until the end of her senior year.
The twins have returned from college for the summer and are having a pool party, even though they haven't talked in years Brendan invites Diana to come over for a late-night swim but things end up taking a steamy twist that Diana did not see coming.
Diana and the twins end up starting a sexual relationship that takes Diana places she never EVER thought she would go.

Miranda Silver did it again y’all! After reading and LOVING her other work Priceless by Miranda Silvers last year, I was excited to pick up some of her other works, and boy did she not disappoint! This book hooks you for the first page and starts with a bang... quite literally.
The only problem I had with this book was that in my opinion, it was longer than it needed to be, and if as though a few of the sex scenes could have been cut out and towards the end of the book they started to get repetitive, I felt as though I was reading the same scenes over and over again.

Overall, I very much did enjoy this book and I have plans to read every book Miranda Silvers puts out because I just can’t get over her writing and her ability to make me absolutely fall in love with her characters.

My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick is about Samantha Reed who seems to have the perfect life as the senator's daughter compared to her next-door neighbor the Garretts a large family of ten, who her mother highly disproves of but Samantha can’t help but watch their family from her window. When Jase Garrett climbs up her terrace and they get to know each other and everything changes.

This book was extremally popular a few years ago and I never really planned on picking it up but the other day GoodReads had recommended it to me and the next day I had found it at a second-hand book store near me and I decided it was fate and that I had to get it and honestly I don’t regrate it.
I actually quite enjoyed this book, it’s a very cute and sweet romance that is perfect for summer (I kinda wish I had read it during summer and not during winter) and I absolutely loved the love interest Jase, he was so incredibly sweet and honestly just the perfect boyfriend.
I also loved and appreciated that the author didn’t shy away from talking about sex. Not to repeat myself from my Just One Day by Gayle Forman review but a lot of YA books don’t really talk about sex which is weird seeing that teenagers are probably the people that think about it the most and more prevalent in their life. I don’t think that YA authors need to have graphic sex scenes in their books but I don’t think they need to shy away from it as much as they do.

There were a few things that I didn’t like, the main one being a lack of plot. In the first hundred pages or so, there wasn’t a ton happening and it was kinda slow. I also wish we got more closer with Sam and Nan’s relationship, it just kinda felt unfinished and I wish we had seen Sam get closer and move on from losing her best friend.

Overall, I quite enjoyed this book, I’m glad that I picked it up. The writing was great (I plan on reading more of the author's works) and I loved the romance and Jase has officially made my book boyfriend list.
