Love Delayed by Love Belvin

Zoey was not looking for love. Stent wasn't either. Zoey was focused on pursuing her undergraduate degree at Princeston. Stent was committed to training, balling, and securing endorsements for his long-time NBA career. By chance, these two cross paths and their worlds are never the same. My world has not been the same since I experienced their budding romance. Love Belvin's style of storytelling is realistic and enthralling. I feel like I'm actually experiencing every emotion that she describes. Come experience how it feels to Wait to Breathe...you will not regret it.

Gabriel is my favorite!

Gabe is ALL man! I liked everything about him. As much he was he was a player, he loved Alexis - ironic truth. Gabe brought thug passion to this series and we all know how thugs get down in the bedroom!

Watch out for the quiet ones like Aubrey

Aubrey is just as passionate a lover as his brothers. He lays it down to the women and they fall in love, but Aubrey isn't interested in a committed relationship. Once he comes across Callie all that changes. One simply cannot fight good ole chemistry and ultimately love.

Mario the youngest, carries the largest load

Rio reminds me of his big brother Gabriel in the way he makes love to his wife Tia. These two love hard in spite of their highly, complex and oftentimes painful union. Rio and Tia have a lot to work through as well as accept in order to maintain their marriage. Their lovemaking is off the charts though! What goes on with them is nothing short of primal and cannot be denied.

Home is where the heart is...

Troy and Ronnie have such a sweet love story. It makes my me smile thinking of a lost love that is found. This short one will give you happy feelings.

The Come Up by Nia Forrester

It's a come up for many reasons...

Of course, the first thing I love about this story is Makayla with her locs! Thank you Nia Forrester for adding that character detail along with the use of the term "locs" instead of the dreadful moniker. I love that Jamal likes non-traditional and appreciates beauty beyond the surface. I love Makayla's intelligence; it's so reminiscent of Riley. I also love her loyalty and commitment. I love Jamal; very reminiscent of Chris, but his own man with his own convictions. I love the slow building of romance and love that intensifies over time. I love the passion of a couple and this story met my expectations. I finished in a day because I couldn't put it down"!
