I read all three books in this series in the last couple of weeks and this is my favourite by far (and I really enjoyed the other two). The book starts out with an insanely hot one-night-stand between Sarah and "Theo" that neither one of them can forget. When they are reunited months later at Sarah's PR firm, with her new client Riley, things are bound to pick up right where they left off. The chemistry between the two of them is amazing, and when they agree to "fake-date" for his career, no one thought that would last for long. My absolute FAVOURITE part of this book is how amazingly the two of them communicate with one another. They both know that they're falling for each other, and they actually talk about it and make a realistic grown-ass decision to pursue their relationship. Both Sarah and Riley have baggage from their past that they bring to the relationship, but they grow and heal TOGETHER as a couple and are all the better for it. I loved them apart and I loved them even more together. I need more books like this in my life!

So I've read about dragons before, and I've read omegaverse books before, but this was the first time I've read them together in one book! This story felt like a fresh and unique take to me. Zephyr has my heart with his tortured past and beautiful soul. He is so kind and caring and compassionate with Sabrina. The rest of the world sees him only as the alpha dragon shifter that he is, but his heart really shines with his little omega. She is a fiery human who makes a deal and gets caught up in this world of magic of shifters. Seeing her come into her own throughout the book was amazing. While a tad predictable at times, I did enjoy this book and the world-building that Julie did for this series. Looking forward to seeing how this series continues!

Finlay Donovan and her ever-growing entourage are on the move with a road trip to Atlantic City! This book is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. This might be the funniest book of the series for me. There was a LOT going on throughout this whole story, and I was happy to see some of the storylines resolved by the end of the book. Finlay and Vero continue to be my favourite relationship, but I absolutely loved seeing Finlay & Nick and Vero & Javi having their moments too. The storylines are so far-fetched and a comedy of errors, but that's exactly what I expect from these books now. They are an entertaining escape from reality, and I'm here for the ride.

The book was a short and sweet story featuring our favourite fearless sidekick, Vero. One of the things we love about Vero is her witty banter and her amazing relationship with Finlay. I felt like this one might have been missing that special spark a bit. We still got a chance to see how Vero came to be the nanny and partner-in-crime for Finlay, and we did see a bit of her one-of-a-kind backstory. Full of action and comedy, it's still a fun read and worth it for fans of the Finlay Donovan series.

Book three continues with the non-stop craziness you can expect from a Finlay Donovan book. Once again, our witty heroine finds herself in trouble, this time with an imprisoned Russian mobster. Finlay and Vero end up attending a police academy camp, and chaos ensues. These two always seem to end up getting themselves into trouble in the zaniest ways. While fun and entertaining, this installment felt a little bit like filler and didn't seem to progress the overall story as much as other stories. That being said, I still enjoyed it and am here for the whole ride.
