While I still enjoyed this book, it was my least favorite in the series.
SPOILERS:
I am not a fan of a memory loss trope.
I rarely find it to be as effective as an author intends. This book was one of the better stories I have read that contains this trope. Still, I was not a huge fan, and I did not have much interest until Evangeline regained her memory...
I hate Apollo. I did not like that some of the chapters were from his perspective. I wish we had chapters from Jack's perspective instead. I feel like if I had liked Apollo more, those chapters would not have irked me as much as they did.
Now, I loved that Jack's story background became more prominent towards the end. I did want him to have greater revenge on Aurora than what occurred, I felt that fell a little flat.
I loved Apollo's ending (WHAT HE DESERVED) and I loved that Evangeline and Jacks FINALLY had a happy ending.
Overall, I thought that this did a good job of tying the story up neatly. Besides those few complaints, (which are entirely based on my personal preferences) I enjoyed the book and would recommend it!
