Kiss Me in this Small Town by Willow Winters
5.0
After reading The Tequila Rose Duet by Willow, I had already met Renee and Griffin, but desperately needed to know their story. Having read this, in one day, it was clear I didn't know how much I needed them. Griffin is Renee's Boss, in a bar he owns with his best friend, Brody. He has always had eyes, and I mean eyes, for Renee. Renee walks in and Griffin lights up with the biggest smile, but let's be clear, so does Renee. However, Renee has some darkness underneath the light in her eyes, and doesn't want to drag Griffin down with her. There is also the boss and employee relationship, their two best friends are married, and the gossip within the small town they live.
You don't need to have read Tequila Rose to read this book, and if you want that HEA in characters that deserve life's happiness, then here it is. Renee and Griffins story from the first page was a book I couldn't put down, and although some content may be triggering for some, and tough to read, it was so worth the darkness to see the light.
