I think this book did what it set out to do, it just wasn't the message I need to hear right now so it didn't really resonate.

A good book for a bad brain day.

Reminded me of No One Is Talking About This by Patricia Lockwood in both narration style and some of the themes, but I personally found this much more digestible than Lockwood's.

This whole book felt like a hug. Definitely cheesy, and read like a fanfiction at times (which for me is why this isn't a 5 star read), but I deeply enjoyed it and will be thinking about it for a long time.

I have many feelings about this book. It was very good, but if I had to pick one word, I would choose "ouch"

This book just felt unfinished to me. I had a hard time with the switching narrative and jumping timelines, and then the ending came absolutely out of nowhere and didn't resolve in any sort of satisfying way.

Even though this story took place over a few distinct time periods, there were still some jumps (especially in the first section) that took me a while to get used to. On the whole though, this was great.

I could feel the love in this book. There are some areas where I definitely wish we knew more about the world in which this story takes place, but Klara's narration through the book is beautiful. I will definitely be thinking about it for a while.

This was incredible. I read it in a day. I don't even know how to describe it without spoilers, but I will definitely be thinking about this for a long time. Absolutely beautiful.
