I’m not sure whether I liked it at all or not. May be after reading the rest of the series I will re read this one and change the rating. But I felt too much of Shakespeare drama and too much of part screenplays bored me. I only enjoyed 30% of it

I read this as a mystery novel, as a crime thriller and I loved it. I don’t want to indulge in what is right and what’s not. I loved this composition as a fictional story with references to history here and there. And it was great in that genre.
A few times in the middle of it I felt it is loosing its grip but then again some new chapter caught my attention.
It is surely written to glorify the work of mossad and why not? It’s known to all that every coin must have two faces ; we might engage ourselves looking to the bright side but that doesn’t nullify the darker side of it.
Now after I have finished it may be sometime I start finding about details of some incidents mentioned in it and that after effect works fine with me.

I never understood modern art; while I was reading this book I realised there’s a category as modern storytelling which I don’t understand as well.
I was reading it still, some pages I liked some parts I didn’t understand, some made me think, some were depressing.
In only 80 pages author successfully captured many flavours of life and misery and simple dreams, aspire.
It was a mixed feeling till last chapter. I thought I would give it somewhat 3 stars. Then in the end when his dead body bursts it took away that extra star from me.

It’s a story of a person named Sashi; his thoughts, realisations, dream, fear in short it’s a kind of the world through Shashi’s eyes.
As it was written back in 1930 it is as relatable as it can be. But still Kumud took me by awe. He is one of a kind person. If this book really talks about people dancing like puppets sometimes because luck or situations or peer pressure or merely for social reasons; Kumud knew how to play around with the strings. To portray a character like him back in those days ? Author had me at that

“The vexing thing about time is that it’s never enough, perhaps a decade too short , perhaps a moment. But life always ends too soon” so does these 500 pages. When I reached 90+% I didn’t want to change page I wished to start over at every word; such was it’s impact on me. I gave it a second thought after I finished why m I not satisfied or m I? I sat down in a corner for hours n felt it will always be atleast 1 chapter short
