Possessive Puckboy by Eden Finley, Saxon James

I AM OBSESSED WITH CONNOR AND PARKER. Are you kidding me?! The way I totally clocked by Connor was mad Parker was cornering his little brother…oh wow I swooned. I was a little shocked by some of the things Connor learned about himself through this story and was a little sad when he didn’t get to do something at the end of the book. But I had to remember that he was happy and had obviously thought things through. So I was ultimately just happy he found joy in his life and a partner he could share his life with. Parker cracked me up at times and made me want to hug him most of the time. He was a little lost in life like Connor so when they found their way together, it was perfection. I also adored the Collective cameos!!

I love a hurt/comfort, possessive, touch him and die vibe and this book hit all of those elements and more. You meet Matty and Sebastian in the first book of this series and I am so glad I continued reading to get their story. Sebastian is a lone wolf in a sense (but as a vampire) and is jaded by his past. The way he searched out Matty and made sure he was safe and happy had me flying through this book. It makes the most sense to read the first book but this book has my heart right now so I need everyone to read it! If you love paranormal romance with found family and all the aforementioned micro tropes then I think you’ll become obsessed with the relationship that Sebastian and Matty develop. And that epilogue?! Stop I wanted to cry it was so beautiful.

This book needs to be in every English classroom in middle/high schools. The way symbolism bleeds through every page/sentence had me hooked and knowing I would gain a new perspective upon finishing this book to the point I read it in one day. Pet represents a being that looks like the monsters that plagued humanity but is actually there to expose the true monsters hiding in society. Truly this is a must read and I hope more people look into it.

Hockey romance is one of my favorite subgenres of romance so I was intrigued by this story. JR Gray is an incredible storyteller and I am so happy I decided to read this and didn’t wait. Logan and Anthony were the perfect sweet couple and I loved the hockey element. It was just right for their dynamic. I can’t wait to see how the next book goes and who it might be about! We only got a taste of the hockey rivalry between the Gods and Monsters and I’m looking forward to learning more!!

It’s been a while since I’ve finished a book in a 24 hour period but I could not put this down. I knew Addison wouldn’t disappoint when it came to Cassius and Skylar’s story. Those two are undeniably soulmates and perfect for each other in every possible way. The way Cass knows Skylar and his needs without it needing to be voiced…made me swoon every single time. I was so not expecting the way Cass too over during intimate scenes, especially in their first one. But it made sense to their dynamic and I quickly realized that was exactly what they both needed and they could only give it to each other. I’m a sucker for long epilogues/happy endings but this was beautiful because Cass and Skylar were essentially in love and happy together even if it wasn’t official. I also adored Cass becoming good friends with Knox and getting to see Knox and Rhys become friends. I love the family that is the XO crew and can’t wait to see what happens with Max and a certain mysterious boss…
But truly, if you haven’t read this series yet, you’re missing out because it’s one of my all time favorites and I just want everyone to experience this series and fall in love with these characters.

Loving Leo by Cora Rose, Nicole Dykes

READ THIS SERIES. I cannot truly explain how much I loved this book. Leo was the perfect sunshine character that you can’t help but root for his happy ending. And, of course, Heath was a perfect grumbling grump. Their meet cute had my mouth open in shock and I was kicking my feet in glee. Leo worked as a custodian at night in an office building to help pay for bills and classes but he was also a camboy but he wasn’t as successful as he’d like to be at the time so he had to do both. He would film on his breaks at work, which is how he gets caught filming naked in Heath’s office. I swooned and was obsessed with these two! Please go read them!

I enjoyed this audio and think it would be worth listening to. It also reminded me of a series by Onley James. I haven’t read that full series besides the first one so I can’t say for sure if they continue to be similar. But I think if you enjoyed that series you might enjoy this one as well.
The Glow Up by A.M. Johnson

The Glow-Up was wholesome, sweet, and just adorable and that just about sums it up. There is pining, embarrassing meet cutes that you can’t help but love, and all the little moments you love about romance. I am obsessed with this series and can’t wait for the next one. I highly recommend reading this series before FU 2.

I don’t even know where to begin. I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this seeing as it was my first Lark Taylor book but I have mutuals who rave about this series so I figured I’d give the audio a shot. I don’t know why it took me so long because I’m obsessed and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I fell in love with these characters and the fated mates aspect of this story. I’m a sucker for a bond like that so the fact Ferry literally waited four thousand years to be reunited with his mate…literally broke my heart and healed it at the same time. Leo and Ferry would do anything for each other and I would have loved seeing more of their happy ending. But other than that, this was an incredible audio and I can’t wait to read more from Lark.

I enjoyed this story and the continuation of the Royal Elite series. I can’t wait to see where the other characters’ stories go because I loved seeing Kimberly and Xander get their happy ending. Check triggers on this because Kimberly struggled with her mental health and had maladaptive coping skills that took the majority of the book to work through. I think it was important that this aspect of the story wasn’t rushed but I would have liked to see a little more of Kimberly and Xander’s happy ending. I am enjoying this series!
