I’m not going to lie, reading Flowers in Your Hair did me a world of good. I think the fact that there’s no angst in the relationship between the two MCs played a big part. Sure, things aren’t always a bed of roses in the book, but their relationship is beautiful and doesn’t suffer from a thousand complications.
Josie and Andrew are just as sweet. You can tell from the beginning that Cupid has used his bow and arrow to bring them together in a strong relationship. One thing I really liked was that after their first steamy date, Andrew wanted to take his time with Josie to prove to her that he wanted a serious relationship with her and that it wasn’t just about their irresistible physical attraction.
I’m not much of a family-oriented person, but the Cunninghams almost made me want to have brunch with them every Sunday. They’re an incredible family, the kind of family most people can only dream of having. Not to mention Travis and Velma, because who doesn’t love MCs with pets?
If I had one small criticism, it’s that I was often more invested in Beau and Marley’s tumultuous relationship than Josie and Andrew’s smooth one. That’s why I’m going to read Never Really Mine straight away.

Monster romance books will always have a special place in my heart, especially books where the FMC lives happily ever after with more than one partner—my discovery of monster romance is intrinsically linked to my discovery of RH/Why Choose romance. Needless to say, I enjoyed reading Seduced by the Werewolves by Lyonne Riley.
As much as I liked Tiff, I would have liked her more if she had stood up to her boss and her mother sooner. However, watching her assert herself was a very satisfying experience. I also liked the four brothers—Leon, Jace, Eli and Quinn—with a slight preference for the two youngest. The funny thing is, I liked Eli’s slightly reserved side as much as I liked Quinn’s golden retriever energy.
The smut is truly incredible, whether the MMCs are in human or lupine form, Lyonne Riley really takes great care to describe the spicy scenes in detail.
There’s only one thing that bothered me a little about the whole book, and that’s that all four MMCs are brothers and share Tiff at the same time. I guess from a werewolf pack’s point of view it’s easier to rationalise, but from my human point of view it was a bit harder to do.
Anyway, this is the first Lyonne Riley book I’ve read, but given the quality of her writing, I’m sure it won’t be the last.

I have an empty feeling in my heart and I sigh when I think about the last couple of days, I feel like the time has gone by too fast. I think I’m suffering from a massive book hangover, because oh my fudging god, this book was so amazing 🥹 (but I didn’t doubt it for a moment after reading all of Sloan Spencer’s other books).
From the very first pages, I felt the same sensations I had when reading Every Version of You, that feeling of knowing that a book will make you laugh, cry, swoon, fall in love with the main characters and never want to leave them. Robyn, Isaiah and Dell are truly lovable characters.
The book covers a very wide range of topics. I found it very interesting to follow the construction of the polycule that Robyn, Dell and Isaiah form. I felt it was very natural from the moment they accepted each other’s feelings.
I was also impressed by the variety of bodies in this book in general, but especially by Robyn’s. She has a physique that is different from what society thinks the female body should be and yet, despite her own doubts—thank you, Mom—she doesn’t hesitate to spread values of self-acceptance through social networks and that is both brave and inspiring.
There’s one other topic that really resonated with me, and that’s Isaiah’s demisexuality. Being on the asexuality spectrum myself, I always feel more represented when I read a book where one of the characters is also on that spectrum. Thankfully, there are more and more books with ace/aro characters, but it’s still the exception. Here, Isaiah is extremely comfortable with his sexuality, both in being biromantic and demisexual. While asexuality is a sexual orientation that is becoming more known, I personally still get a lot of misunderstanding when I talk about it, so it warms my heart to see that Isaiah is accepted by both his family and his polycule without having to explain himself—a little thought for Jonah’s obliviousness though 🤣
As for rugby, as a European, I grew up watching rugby and even played a bit of it in school—for once, being fat was an advantage in a sport, as no one could tackle me 😂—and it made me happy to rediscover the sport through this book, even though it’s been far too long since I’ve watched any—note to self: watch the Six Nations Championship. At least I understood more things than I do in sports romance books about American football—I have nothing against those books, I love many of them, it’s just that the rules of American football are beyond my comprehension 😅
I think you’ll have gathered by now that I loved reading Every Move You Make and wouldn’t mind a brief bout of amnesia to rediscover it as if for the first time. I’ll now wait as patiently as possible for the next book in the series.
Thanks to Sloan Spencer and Happily Booked PR for giving me the opportunity to receive an ARC of Every Move You Make. This review is my own. All opinions expressed are mine.

I had a great time reading My Date With An Edible Book—except when Eddie was there, screw you, Eddie!
How do you make my little French heart skip a beat? Seeing the names of the dishes written in French—that’s how you get a monstrous craving for crème brûlée at 2 am.
Seb is an incredibly sweet character. He barely knows Sloan and is already willing to do anything for her, and poor Sloan really needs him after spending a century as a book, unable to transform because of that jer… because of Eddie.
I loved the humour and the puns in this book. It made me want to read more of Holly Wilde’s stories. I think I’m going to check out her already published books soon.

I don’t think I’ll ever look at a garden hose the same way again 😆
Like all the Kyleverse novellas, I really enjoyed this one. It was very funny and at the same time explored serious themes such as lack of self-confidence. Kate and Adrian are really cute together and Kyle is always the right man for the job—that’s why we love him so much.

I really liked Wacky. I think it’s my favourite Kyleverse book so far.
I thought the story was really moving. I think Alli’s anxiety really spoke to me. Like her, I find it hard to go with the flow. Quinton is as adorable as a tube man as he is as a man. And Kyle… I love that character, he’s really incredible!
I don’t know where Nicole Parker gets all her ideas, but I hope she’ll be sharing them with us for a long time to come.

I don’t know how to describe this novella other than it’s a happy non-orgy mess because Kyle wasn’t allowed to 😂
I really enjoyed this book, I thought it was very funny. It’s always a pleasure to see the Kyleverse characters again, but especially Kyle himself. This man is really up for anything as long as it stays within the law, is there a single person who doesn’t love Kyle?

This novella has all the usual humour of Nicole Parker’s books, but it’s also very emotional. I think this is the book in the Kyleverse that has moved me the most so far.
Reese is really a character you want to comfort after the breakup she didn’t see coming. Luckily, Kyle is always incredibly supportive. He doesn’t hesitate for a moment to agree to share an apartment with her, and he doesn’t ask any questions when he’s drawn into Reese’s dreams of Alora—this isn’t his first sentient object. As for Alora, she radiated a great sense of gentleness behind her melancholy.
In short, I loved the book, and who would have thought that Kyle still had secrets for us? In any case, thanks to his knowledge, he quickly introduces Reese to new experiences 😏

I loved this novella, I found it extremely funny but also incredibly hot 🥵
I’m glad to see the characters from the first book again, sometimes there’s nothing better than the original characters.
I really like that even though Taylor and Connor are now a couple, they still have room for our very dear Kyle and also agree to do some primal play with his friend Archie 😏

The great thing about Nicole Parker's books is that even though we pretty much know what to expect, she still finds a way to surprise us 😂
I thought this novella was really cute and a great way to learn more about some of the characters in the Kyleverse.
Speaking of Kyle, is there a single person he hasn't slept with? 🤣
Also, I don't think I'll ever look at Skittles the same way again 🌈
