It’s a bit too much information to take in, and despite being about folklore and the landscape - two things that are right up my street - it’s surprisingly light on narrative/storytelling. I found it a bit dry
Excellent and non—judgemental book about conspiracy theories: why people get into them, how they spread, how they’re used by governments, and how they can be stopped.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

A brilliant, absorbing horror-tinged exploration of early motherhood’s impact on the mental health of the main character, Grace, who has accidentally found herself pregnant with her sort-of boyfriend, Ryan.
There was a strong tinge of realism in this, but it also draws strongly on the bleak Yorkshire landscape, and on the feeling of desolation in its moorland and abandoned industrial buildings.
Yet another great read from the incomparable Naomi Booth.
