Okay, this one had me hooked. I loved the character’s and how well they all work together. Their story is such an interesting one and I loved the depth of their backstory that we got, but it also left us with this mystery of what happened and you want nothing more than to figure it out. I really felt for Layrin and the shit she had to put up with and then to have all these little things start to slowly unravel, it’s no surprise she acted the way she did. I love how even though the Ambros triplets look the same, they still have so many differences that set them apart, plus the fact that Layrin can instantly tell who’s who, just made me so happy. I’m absolutely dying to read the next one to see what happens and how everything will be resolved because I see some serious retribution coming. I’ve absolutely loved Kira Stanley’s writing style and will definitely be checking out her backlist. Check your trigger warnings before picking this one up.

I really freaking loved this one so much, I genuinely can't find a fault. I loved the characters and their dynamics, how they built this bond before even developing a relationship further. The work place romance, with a little bit of enemies to lovers, with the tiniest bit of miscommunication (in my opinion) and I mean tiniest, gave it so much tension just watching it bubble. Vaughn was grovelling so good there at the end the man went to extremes to get his girl back and I was here for it. I was crying and smiling like no tomorrow reading this book and I can't to continue reading the rest of the books.

I enjoyed this one and loved the dynamics between the characters. The plot was interesting and I love how she does work place romance, with the added enemies to lovers. The story is fast paced and a big trope is miscommunication, and we know how we all feel about that, but it worked really well. Definitely recommend reading.

I enjoyed this one and found it interesting. I enjoyed getting to know these characters and the way they connected, I'm intrigued to watch it play out further in the next book. The world and the plot were well thought out and all the little details gave it that added layer. I'm also intrigued to see more of our side characters, as they have a depth to them and secrets that I think are still to be revealed. Definitely recommend checking out if you want a new YA Fantasy.

I enjoyed this one, it’s a nice quick easy read. Definitely perfect for the spooky season. This is step brother/sister, so let that be your warning and also to check the other trigger warnings. This is definitely one of those books that I could see the potential for a full novel, as I think there are definitely some aspects of the characters that can be thoroughly explored and to really dive into their relationship. I’m thoroughly loving Mae K Knight’s work and I can’t wait to read more.
