I inhaled this. So good and so happy to have these stories. I mainly read the ebook, but I listened to the audiobook a little and I didn’t love the male voice. These stories add depth and closure to the duology in a beautiful way. I am so happy this exists, and I enjoyed meeting these characters again!

Excellent science writing that is fun, interesting, and nuanced. As a scholar with historically marginalized identities, this was inspirational, and I hope it inspires future diverse scientists.

I thought the world-building was interesting. Loved the melanated main protagonist and queen. The character development and love connection were shaky for me, but I'm looking forward to future works by this author.
