I just absolutely couldn’t stand most the characters. i can’t deal with whiny personalities and they all have it. besides two of them being absolutely two faced. the book is fine like inherently - it’s well written the characters just upset me to the point i couldn’t finish it.

it was a very cute read - very mild spice. like the book version of tums for if you just read something that ripped your heart out. the characters were loveable - there was very little angst. sweet romance blooming over several months because of a well kept bridge. loved it.

one is allowed to use complex sentences.

“every patron in the diner started attacking him with bullets and knives and their bodies”. that sentence is just an example of what i’m writing about. find another way to convey what you’re trying to say.

basically the gist of my problem with the book is - it’s written like a bad wattpad book. like a 14 year old sat down and decided to write a fanfic - that’s the vibe.
