every page of this book felt like a gut punch?? a slap to the face?? i dont know. i dont know if i'm particularly in love with the way this was written but the story itself is interesting and complex to make me look over that. 
marcos was saurrr interesting and his relationship with the other characters and the world around him was so complex. but i feel like the author should have dived into that a bit more (only felt she really did that with him and his sister) and really delved into his character cause I feel like she only slightly broke the surface with him and the way his mind works. 
but overall CRAZYYYY ASS BOOK!

oh my god???? when i started this book i’m not going to lie the whole theater kid thing of it all was really annoying but ig that makes sense cause they are insufferable irl it would make sense to make them insufferable in this book. the way shakespeare was woven into this actually made me love this even more.AND THE CHARACTERS. ALL OF THEM SO COMPLEX I LOVED IT. finally a book where not only the main character is 3 dimensional. 

but wow imagine loving someone that much. i never really understood the whole unconditional love thing i ALWAYS see in these kind of books but this book helped me understand it a little bit more.

such beautiful beautiful storytelling and writing. my stomach was ACHINGGG reading some of these chapters. made me think ab queer people and our relationships in a totally different and new way. should be required reading!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
