seeing all of the references to the games was so intriguing, and added a spotlight to the novel. i found this book so enjoyable, and im very excited to continue the series!

the concept of this book was cute! however, it felt confusing to read at times. i found myself surprised at the sudden progress of the main couple as there was more of a focus on the plot than the romance. if that’s your liking then this book will be for you! was a bit more underwhelming for me

i really enjoyed the other books of this series but this one had to be my least favorite. i understood the aim and what the book was trying to convey, but it felt almost as if there was too many details being explained all at once. i was confused a numerous amount of times. my least favorite in the series so far

this book had a different direction compared to the first one. it had more of a deeper dive into the protagonist as compared to the first one. personally i believed this book got really good towards the last 2/3 hours. still a great read, but it was a hassle to get through all 10/11 hours.

this book was a book i needed to read. it had been a while since the last time i read a novel with an unreliable narrator, and this novel really hit the nail on the head! i found myself not wanting to pick up the book bc of the narrator, but it was very well told.

Despite the tags of this book being lighthearted, there were a couple of dark instances in the novel that surprised me. I found myself forcing reason to read it, and I don’t see why anymore.

as someone who is slowly getting used to horror in fiction, this book was phenomenal! it was slow at first, and in some cases you didn’t know where exactly the narrative was going, but it rises up out of nowhere! a great read for an intro into horror!

It became trauma porn. I couldn't stand constantly reading the negativity from the book. It's one thing to write a novel with dark themes, but another to make it the entirety of what it is.
