I like the Hurricane Blonde. It had a very Hollywood, glitzy vibe to it. I liked how tangled the family dynamics were, and we were along for the ride as Salma was uncovering all their family's dark secrets. The six feet under tour also gave a fun twist to the story, bringing light to Hollywood murdered stars! Fun read!

This book had a serial killer, missing girls, coming of age, love, some funny commentary, heartbreaking losses, and a historical feel to it. It was definitely a unique read. It spanned a whole lifetime for the 2 characters, Saint and Patch, and some of the other people in their town. Short chapters, but a lot of chapters, this book was about a friendship throughout the ages. Very interesting.

This was a nice ending to the story. I found it less dramatic than "it ends with us." I feel like everything fell into the right place a little too perfectly. I did enjoy reading both Lily and Atla's POVs.

This was a heavy topic to read. It's not a love story but a story about strength and perseverance. I loved Colleen really explained what Lily was thinking about how she was struggling with her situation. It's definitely a meaningful read.

John Marrs has done it again! The Family Experiment is in the same world as his previous books, The One, The Passengers, and The Marriage Act. He ties them together so perfectly. I really enjoyed this one, felt close to home, being a first-time mom. I love how his characters all have shady pasts, and you're always trying to figure out what their deal is, and why they want a meta child! Marrs gives a lot of twists that had my actual jaw-dropping and saying.... did I read that right?? He also makes you feel sad for humanity if we are headed into this dystopian future. His description of the meta verse is crazy!! I think this is one of my top favourites of his!!

I really enjoyed this book! I think Ruby was a fascinating character! I loved how she was a people watcher, how she saw life, and how she rationalized things. I loved that she was a therapist, and that was part of her quirks, lol. I loved how the book was written, bringing us through Ruby's life experiences, starting from childhood, and how different characters and relationships would be connected. The setting of the book was fantastic, and who doesn't love Miami. I also loved how Sascha Rothchild gave a pretty accurate description of Diabetes, and how it affects a person's life. Having lived with a type 1 diabetic, I was able to connect with her description. I have seen my sister experience nearly everything the author describes about Jason. I think it was a really good story. It kept me hooked from the start! I couldn't put it down!
