I read this book because a 4th grader had questions about its content. It's a lovely way to address substance abuse and keeping family secrets for young kids. It takes place in the late 70s, so it's a bit dated, but I don't think that takes away from the message or the fun of it. It's a graphic novel too, so it's easy to read!
