*raises hand* I think Lord Peter Wimsey is gay

her prose and style are fun to read but did make it harder for me to keep track of the characters and elements of the mystery, which is a shame bc I love to solve things. but overall I'm charmed

I honestly had a blast with this. Definitely not perfect -- I don't think every aspect hits the way the author wants it to, and although the characters were awesome I really would have loved some stronger character development/more clarity of motivations and mindset especially of our protagonists especially in the first half (I wanted them to talk about their feelings, damnit! sue me!) but the pacing was awesome and basically every time I went "oh I HOPE this happens based on this thing that was just said" it did in fact happen. Just genuinely so much fun.
