Oh my god, I’m absolutely in LOVE with these two! I loved the story! At first I was upset at the epilogue being weeks after but as I went on I allowed it, AND THE VERY END AHHHHH, such a good last sentence “and all five candles snuffed out at once”. I was also thinking if Silas didn’t come back and Nathaniel and Elisabeth had a kid… Silas Scrivener-Thorn….. also also the little hint at Katrien being aromantic and then Nathaniel outright being bi!! I kinda suspected because it kept saying “maybe he doesn’t like women” and stuff like that so I had my suspicions but it was still a shock and I loved it. Elisabeth has bi husband energy

Im so utterly disappointed in that ending. I will even admit I skipped a ton of chapters bc I just didn’t care, from like half way through I started skipping the Iris ones, then the Maven ones. And the last few chapters I kinda just read quickly because I wanted it to be over with. It so slow, and Cal and Mare don’t even get together, and I have no idea why Cal suddenly didn’t want the crown, bc I skipped his chapters at the end. And why the hell they didn’t just kill maven on the spot??? Like the only thing I enjoyed from that book is Cam and Kilorn, Evangeline and Elane going to Montfort and Gisa being bi…. So disappointed, I hope the prequels will make up for it

It started off weird and it ended off weird but overall I loved it! I say it ended weird because it ended like a standalone or a series finale… but I know that there’s two more. I’m about to start Wayward Son so we’ll see what happens

I liked this one, and I’m happy that Simon found out that he’s a Salisbury because it was getting close to the end and I didn’t think he would, but when he picked up the sword and they stared at him I just knew it must be some blood magic sword and I was right. ALSO AGATHA AND NIAMH, I kinda shipped them after their first goat trip and then I was like “ugh just make out” and then they did…. After helping a goat give birth….. what a story to tell, I also wish I got to see the scene where she tells Simon, because I think that would be hilariously ironic. I didn’t like the epilogue and not because it was a year later, it was because it was one paragraph from only Agatha’s POV. Anywho I enjoyed the series, it was kinda written weird but I liked it nonetheless

That was amazing, it was funny and cute and more. Henry and Alex’s relationship reminds me so much of Baz and Simon’s, as well as their friend groups. And of course I can’t forgot the greatest quote of all time
“I don’t give a damn about what Joanne has to say, Remus John Lupin is as gay as the day is long” That quote alone was one of the reasons I wanted to read the book
