I should have known this would happen, and this RARELY happens but I have to DNF this book. I can’t slog through this any longer. I knew it was taking me a while to finish it because 1. it took a week to even get to 43% finished and I still had 6 hours left to read. 2. I had NO incentive to want to read or even finish it. 3. I’ve listened to enough audiobooks to know when I’m listening and not even retaining anything.

I’m sad because I love Greek myth and the many varied retellings, but Ariadne here is just so infuriating.

This one is missing something and I’m still not sure what it is. It took me a few chapters to really get into the story as well, but once I did it took off. Another great Feeney twist, and not one I saw coming at all. Still worth the read.
