It's hard to review a book like this when there's so much culturally that's come before it for you. I liked it though. Better than the movie!

The "resolution" to each of these stories is essentially "and that's how it went." Literally nothing happens. Someone sees something weird, then nothing happens. It's very frustrating.

I thought the writing was really fun and I laughed out loud quite a few times. I thought it dropped off hard in the last act though.

I thought I was going to be into these and they suck. Maybe the originals are good but the translation is so annoying.
