Mental health for the FMC is typical but for the MMC that’s uncommon and this book does it beautifully. Cameron has trauma he isn’t ready to express until Daphne comes along. She really slowly opens him up because she’s so vocal about her mental health on her social media. They compliment each other so well, very Taylor and Travis coded.

Super cute! Cliche but I’m always here for a cute cliche second chance. The reason we learn why the MMC is the way he is, is spread throughout the book instead of being purged right away, which kept me interested.

Super cute novella! Loved all the spice and the lighthearted characters. A quick read but a good one.

Such a slow burn I forgot at times I was reading a romance but like…when it got to the spice it was 🥵

Cute story the tension build up is great but it felt so long and at about 30% I almost DNFed it because I was just so lost on how the plot would thicken and continue.

We love a no third act break up! Brothers best friend always hooks me right into the story. I really liked how the elements that added tension were directly related to the characters but not detrimental to their relationship at the same time. Lila and Ian were written perfectly and I knew what to expect from each character. It was a lighthearted read!

Also if the author doesn’t do a book with Abby and Jack, I don’t know what I’ll do!!

Lachlan Kane the man that he is. I love a hard mysterious man slowly being broken down by a strong female lead. Lark knows what she needs to do and is constantly a brave and unrelenting force.

I am such a sucker for a split timeline, and this one is *chef’s kiss*. It adds so much to the slow burn. This book was all I could think about for the past 24 hours.

Also shoutout to the audiobook version on Spotify, very well done and not cringeworthy like some!
