The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen

So I just finished The Bridge Kingdom and never have I bought a continuation to a series so fast. I just NEED to know what happens next.

The book is a refreshing step away from your typical young adult fantasy. The characters are so likeable! I liked Lara from the very first chapter and Aren from the very first time we got to meet him.

All throughout the book you think you have an idea about what's going to happen but the author takes a complete turn and surprises you every time.

I honestly think this was one of the best books I've read all year. I laughed so much because of the sarcasm, wittiness and humour throughout.

This was a very interesting book for me. It was the second classic that I read this month and in comparison to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde it definitely drew me in quicker.

The concept of the story gives a lot to think about. What would happen if we all had a portrait that would mirror the changes made to our souls throughout the years? Another thing that I often thought about while reading was what a huge effect others can have on us, the things we do and the people we become.

Although it was difficult to get through - it is a classic after all - I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed going back to Holly Black's writing. Her books have a magical touch to them and they're so easy to read.

The book has a fast pace to it. I had goosebumps in some moments and I was dying to find out how the story will proceed.

The sleeping beauty/snow white kind of concept I thought was really cute. I liked how someone else ended up with the prince. It was a refreshing touch to the classic fairytale.

Back to Cassandra Clare world! I honestly don't know what kept me away from reading Chain of Gold for so long (maybe except for the fact that I hadn't read The Infernal Devices before).

Cassie is one of my favourite authors of all time. All of her books are just so packed with action and drama, what's not to love?

This book was no different. I love James and Cordelia is my new personal hero. The group of friends adds humour to the story, though it was difficult to grasp who's who at the beginning (there are so many characters).

The additional Will and Tessa content was making my heart melt throughout the entire book. I need the sequel out as soon as possible.

Ever since I finished reading The Bridge Kingdom I've been dying to find out what happens next.

I was actually quite surprised that the book is not out in English yet but it's out for everyone to read in Polish. You guys are in for a treat once it comes out.

Although it didn't strike me as much as The Bridge Kingdom, the book is action packed from the very beginning and focuses on Lara trying to rescue Aren. She gathers a pretty bad ass group to help her in her mission.

It never gets boring. There's always something new waiting around the corner and it leaves you wanting more.

I can't wait to see what other adventures lie ahead.

This is the beginning of my favourite series ever written! I have read this book at least 6 times and it never disappoints. I fell in love with this book during my early teens and I just became addicted. The plotline is interesting, the characters well written. A must for any fantasy lover.

Cassandra Clare just doesn't disappoint! Although this is my least favourite book of the Mortal Instruments Series (due to the lack of Clace moments) I have to admit that it draws me in every time to the point where I'm up all night saying "one more chapter" like a broken record.

Once again a brilliant piece by Cassandra Clare. So much action and interesting plot twists. Every time I read this book it's like I'm sucked into the Shadowhunter world. That's what I love most about the book. Not just this one but the whole series. It sucks you in so that you experience everything with the characters. A must read! (And re-read)

This series just keeps getting better and better with every book. The character development and sequence of events is just amazing and never fails to make me want to stay up all night and read until I reach the end of the book. Just amazing!

When I read the reviews for Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell I thought "I need to read this book!" So I did.

I love retellings and I love anything Peter Pan but this just didn't do it for me. The story is told in such a way that I didn't get attached to the characters and there were no tears when something bad happened.

Everyone also praised the romance in this book. I don't see it. Yes, there is a liiiittle bit of romance but I wouldn't gush over it.

Overall I think it was okay. A little confusing at times but I still enjoyed it.
