Ok, I have a lot to say about this book. This one had a lot of potential, but I wish it had been better. I felt like it fell into the RH trap of not being able to develop all the characters enough, which was a shame because I felt like these characters were the most intriguing of the series. I really liked the senator and his brother especially. And I felt like even tho there wasn’t enough character development, the book was too long. Especially after reading the first two books in the series, a lot of the sex scenes felt repetitive. It felt like the author had the same few tricks in her bag, and each book in the series she did the same thing, but each book she said  “let’s make the dick BIGGER!” “Let’s have two alphas in a rut at the same time!” “Let’s make the big sports player with a beard even bigger!” And maybe I just didn’t notice it in the first book, but I felt as the series progressed, the alphas and omegas became these separate internal personas that weren’t unified with who the character was, and I don’t really like that overt dynamic as much. I would say the beginning was good. (I loved the mute omega thing in the beginning. I thought that was so interesting, but then all of a sudden a few days pass and she could just talk again. That was a bit of a let down) The middle completely lost me, and then the end sort of won me back (except that last sex scene during her heat when it’s like “ok her heat is over JUST KIDDING we need to do this especially crazy sex thing to shock her out of her heat. Believe me guys, it’s a thing. Really.” 🙄) I did like the part where they figured out why she bonded with them in the order that she did. But if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, girl - go to therapy! You were abused your whole life. Yes, sure. You can decide to become a therapist. That’s fine. But. You. Need. To. Go. To. Therapy. Too

This was another entertaining book in this series! I liked Remi more than I did Meg. I loved Cassian “Only ever loved one girl” Pierson. I don’t know how I feel about Smith. He was so horrible to Remi in the beginning, I just don’t know if he really did enough to make it up to her. I did like that he went to alpha school tho. That was cute. I feel like both this book and the previous book in the series have been good, but missing something I can’t put my finger on to push them over to being great

This was hot, engaging, and well written. I think it could have been a little shorter, and the angsty stuff with Declan could have been condensed. The FMC was a little annoying by how clueless she was, when the beginning of the book made such a big deal about her being so smart and independent. And I understand that’s why we are told she struggled so much with accepting that the alphas really wanted her, but it all felt kind of one dimensional to me. Like, they are over the top telling her she belongs to them, and then internally she says the same “for now. They’ll be tired of me soon” stuff over and over. But overall, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this!

I have been waiting for this book release with so much anticipation, and it didn’t disappoint. Eliana Lee has ruined me for all other omegaverse. So many stand out features of this book. The people pleaser teacher giving her all to the detriment of her own well being and a broken education system that would just take and take and take from her if she allowed it. Felix the cat was great. Eliana Lee is the queen of the hot sassy beta, and James in this book is SO GOOD. The way he’s a beta but also takes charge and helps the alphas understand what’s going on. I felt like he was the perfect example of how important betas are in a pack. He is probably my favorite but of course Logan is such a sweet heart. I loved seeing Rome and James build their pack relationship with Logan as much I enjoyed their relationship with Ivy. The part where they took him clothes shopping was just so good. The spice in this book is 🥵🔥.

So short and so cute. I never know how to rate short novellas like this because, for what it was, it was great. How Ruby Dixon can make me love and root for two characters so much in 74 pages is nothing short of witchcraft.

This series was a ride! I really like the format of short books all forming one plot line. I think the super gory stuff wasn’t for me, and I figured out who the original killer was pretty early on. But I liked how wild this book got and to what extent they went to for their revenge. Their whole revenge plan was amazing. Lana was a great character. I felt like Logan was kind of meh. I thought that when he started breaking everything in that cabin we’d get this interesting character twist from him. But that didn’t really happen. And he was always “crashing” his lips into hers. I liked Jake much better. Honestly Jake and Hadley felt like they had more chemistry than Lana and Logan. I would say 4 stars for the whole series

Ahhhh what did this book do to me?? Logan! You’re ripping my heart out! We knew that’s how he was bound to react initially, but seriously?? Come on Logan! I need to read the last book asap. I can’t handle this. It’s so bonkers, in a good way

I like the relationship between Hadley and Lana. I just need Logan to find out about Lana already! The suspense is killing me. Also the town is creeping me out

Hehehe I’m enjoying the heck out of this! I like it when they’re short books like this that actually could be one regular length book if they were all combined. Reading them quickly like this feels like I’m binging a good tv show with the cliff hanger at the end and just wanting to go quickly to the next one to know what’s going to happen.

I’m falling in love with these characters. I love Lana. I can’t wait to see what happens when Logan finds out about her!!
