the fact that it was written in what seemed like a far future to Butler, but to me is the near future tripped me out. this book as is a must read though as there are some aspects of our world that are looking way to close to the events of this book. It made me reflect on the importance of contributing time and talents and skills towards the good of the collective.

Miss Sarah gave us a FEAST with this book. Partially because of how much happened and the other part because of how long this book was I really think she could’ve made it two books but in any case towards the end I had whiplash to how much was going down and gasped every other page. The beginning tho was kinda slow and could've been a novella like frost and starlight.
