The first half was SO. GOOD. Second half dragged and became a little YA for me, but the first half read like adult horror and I loved it.

This was literary, and not horror at all. The book just wasnt for me - far too slow paced, too many things completely unexplored. Very good if you enjoy super literary and metaphysical stuff but I don't.
