It's an interesting book which encourages deep thinking and reflecting. I enjoyed it a lot and will recommend it to children i know.

ein sehr interesasnted buch, das jedoch eine Menge von Lesenden abverlangt. Ich habe sehr lange adran gelesen aber es hat auch Spaß gemacht. Ich wüsste aber nicht so recht, womit man es vergleichen kann.

I saw some poetry of the author of this little book on the internet and fell in love with his perception of our world and the connections he made between our lives and nature.

This book however doesn‘t touch on this as much as I hoped. There were some really nice poems that spoke to me but none that connected as deeply to me as the ones I saw on social media before. I am therefore just feeling a bit disappointed. It is a good collection of poems but it is always a little bit repetitive of how we are nature and therefore worth loving and existing.

I don’t regret buying and reading this book though. The authors appreciation of nature is still obvious in his writing and makes it worth it in my opinion. Maybe I’ll check out his other books. This reads a lot like the first poetry one writes and tries to capture all the big feelings. It is not bad but it also lacks some depth. And I do believe there is potential for more.

I looked at lotsbof tarot books when i started to get into reading more and thisbis the one that stuck the most and the one i would recommend to others.

The structure of the book is nice and i like the way it leaves things open for your own interpretation. The descriptions of each card are long enough to know what's going on and short enough not to hold your own intuition back. I like the exercises it gives for each card and the way the description is split into typocal meaning, other interpretations and what to take away from it.
There are no keywords for cards though i don't think you really need them to male tarot work.

What i enjoyed most is how it encourages you not to get scared by anything the cards show you as there is probably always a different way to look at them which is less scary.

i loved this book.
i had to read it for university and tbh i wasn't a fan of wolffs works before (i read a couple of essays) but this was really stunning. it left me pondering over so many aspects of the story and kassandras fate. but i can also see that this isn't the book for everyone.
the story is told by kassandra who reflects on her life as she is captured by the greek and brought to agamemnons castle to be executed there. therefore the narrative does jump around a bit as it is a kind of stream of consciesness.

this is agood beginners guide to witchcraft and makes a quick read. it is something to read on the toilet or relaxing on the couch with your favourite show on. it is not a dense book and the information presented won't be new to anybody who spent a little time in the witchcraft community or has read other witchcraft books. they always tend to repeat a lot of the same things.
i liked the illustrations but the ebook is not very nicely layed out for them. there are sometimes three or four pages with just the pictures on them weirdly cropped at the bottom. i imagine that in the physical book you'd have a spread with the text on one page and the illustrations on the opposite one. in the ebook it isn't done like that and it is really frustrating.
the other thing about this design choice is that you don't really need to read the texts. almost everything is already shown in the illustration and there is only a marginal increase in info you get from reading. this is quite disappointing as i wanted to read a book and not a picture book. i am nnot a preschooler and would like to read more about the concepts that are only as much as teased by reference.

all in all it's an okay book. with witchcraft book it is always difficult to find something that you vibe wiht and for me this was okay. nothing i would keep around a lot but also something i would borrow to new witches who just got into it and need a little overview of everything.

i listened to this as an audiobook as someone recorded their reading of the book and posted it on youtube.
i had an interesting time with it and some aspects of the book stayed with me for a week after i had finished it. but about after reading it i can't really say a lot about it anymore. it was intersting and dark as osamu dazais books are.but it was also enjoyable.
