This was my first romance featuring a single mom and I really loved this. The story features diverse family structures and I loved the message of love in various forms: the love of parent-child, among friends, coworkers, between strangers, grief, etc.
I swooned over both Aiden and Lucie. Mateo and Grayson were fabulous and I loved Maya’s cosplays and how her family encourages her creative freedom.
Fabulous book. Would recommend.

The writing style didn’t appeal to me, nor did the proselytizing. I can appreciate a very different experience of someone growing up in the Deep South. At times I felt the author was almost bragging about how she bullied others and even her own brother, which made me super uncomfortable.

Great follow up to Bride to the Fox Demon! Mins and Stolas’ story is cute, sexy, and has some darker themes, which ups the ante in this book! Can’t wait for the next one!
