This story was a great quick read. I first need to compliment the writer on their way with words and storytelling. I’m a fan of Scarlett’s other novels and she never disappoints in any story she writes . You are quickly drawn into her world building and depth of her characters. As always, I’m just amazed at St. Clair’s ability to tell a story. I love how she takes so much care to investigate the correct histories and mythologies of each culture she uses in her books. They are so spot on with history and lore and I love it . Wonderful read !
