Allie does it again. I loved Common Grounds and Pumpkin to Talk About so I knew I had to give this one a try. Christmas by Design is a holiday workplace romance. If you’re a fan of the grumpy x sunshine trope, you’ll love the banter between Gemma and Beckett.

This was such a cute YA Christmas romance. High school seniors Chloe Kwon and Peter Li can’t stand each other. Their families own rival restaurants in the Riverwood Mall for court.

When they find out the mall is being sold to a developer and turned into apartments, Peter and Chloe must work to together to save the mall. And what are the holidays without a little romance?

Finished New Kid by Jerry Craft this week. It was such a good storyline. Craft really captures the feeling of being a new kid especially as a child of color at a PWI.

This book was such a cozy vibe for fall. I loved it! It was serious at times but I think sometimes thinking and reflecting on your own life as a result of reading a powerful and impactful book is amazing.

Was not expecting the ending! I enjoyed it.

Nina has decided to take a radio-broadcasting class for her senior. Unfortunately for her so has Jamie, a childhood friend she has been trying to avoid for years. When they end up in the same group can their friendship be mended?

Nina and Jamie’s story was cute. The story was solid and nothing about it was rushed. It was a bit PG-13 for YA, but good overall.
