i'm completely blown away😭 i have no idea why i had rated this only four stars the first time(s) i read it - reading it now, i realize now how beautiful this one is. if i dare say, better than the first one. the scene with all of the of the gadoba trees, we meet leon for the first time, we see the history of previous stoneholders and what happened when they let the magic take over, we are introduced to the people of aleddia, it's perfect !

this was definitely eye-opening, and allowed me to look at another area of studies for me to go into. sapolsky delivers us 27-lectures that were incredibly easy to follow and understand, while being able to make it humorous. amazing! i would gladly read anything by him again <3
i know this is purely in audio form, but i would be over the moon to see physical copies be made.
