This book was truly a beautiful fresh breath of spring air!!!! @alexandrapaigewrites wonderful writing really made it hard to put this book down! Such a wonderful debut!

Though this was a contemporary romance, the found family aspect of the book was the highlight for me! The meshing of all the different personalities in the warehouse flat just gave me the most wholesome energy. The romance part of the book definitely depicted the modern dating world to a tee (situationships/will they won’t they/ love triangles/ non-committal relationships/long distance relationships etc.)

I absolutely loved this book and immediately pre-ordered! This would be the  P E R F E C T coffee table book. I love how all the pictures showed books as art with form and function! I am a big fan of looking at books as art and organizing by color and size over than organizing via author or title. The inclusion of popular authors and their favorite books, a list of banned books, and a few cocktail recipes were a nice break up of the picture and write ups!

Coming of age romance girlies 🤝 Slow-burn mystery suspense girlies when they read @kierstenmodglinauthor ‘s newest book out ⭐️APRIL 1ST⭐️ (in two short days)

I’m a big fan of @kierstenmodglinauthor and always find myself gravitating toward her books when I need a fast-paced and thrilling quick read to get out of a slump!!! This book is admittedly a lot slower….but the slow-burn aspect of the book breadcrumbed my nosy ass right to “Devils Cabin” (iykyk)🤭. Not only that but it throughly held my attention and I kept the pages flipping faster than any other KMod book I’ve ever read thus far! And there’s nothing I love more than an everyone here is shady and also a suspect storyline….and boy did this one have one!

Also, as a gal that doesn’t really delve into much ‘WHICH BROTHER SHALL I END UP WITH?’ content (maybe since Stefan and Damon Salvatore à la Vampire Diaries) KMod made me actually care about and have an OTP of Carmen and [REDACTED HUNTER BROTHER]🤣

All that to say if you’re looking for…

Another hit from Steve Cavanagh; the master of the compulsively readable, carefully curated and intricately intwined thriller. This book was more of a slower burn than others that I’ve read from this author, but in the end, the wait was definitely worth it! ALSO SHORT FAST-PACED CHAPTERS 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 

Though I loved the book, I must admit, that I really didn’t find any of the characters like able. I definitely felt empathy for their plights, but I was truly reading for THE PLOT (which is so not my normal jam…dare I say….it was refreshing🤯). And the plot was p-l-o-t-I-n-g. This revenge book took the troupe to a whole different level and it was {chef’s kiss 💋👌🏾}

Another terrifyingly creepy culty Stepford Wives-esque suspense thriller that I, of course LOVED!✨

Definitely a book I had to read in separate chunks because I was getting so creeped out (in the best way) and scared (it definitely boosted my heart rate several times)! Overall it was a very well crafted book that made you T-H-I-N-K👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I don’t think I’ll ever get over how much I loved this book😩😍🥰😘 Like ✨chef’s kiss✨ perfection, would be an understatement! Guess I’m officially a 2nd chance lover girlie soft era now 🤷🏾‍♀️ 💕

The growth in both of the main characters really did me in on this one….like we’re talking CHARACTER GROWWWWWTH and black excellence! I’ll be forever swooning over this one!
