I really liked this book! Granted, for about half of it I felt like I was missing something and then I learned it was a new story set in the “kingdoms of the Remnant” and I had no clue what that meant 😂 This book didn’t have a lot of world building and I’m guessing if I read “The Remnant Chronicles” first I wouldn’t have felt so in the dark. But regardless, I still enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the sequel!

This duology reminded me of The Night Circus mixed with The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue except a lot more confusing and even though I finished both books and really enjoyed them I’m not 100% sure I could even explain to you what it was about. So this review gets an A for effort 😂

I can’t explain how much I loved this book. What an amazing story. William Kent Krueger is a master storyteller. I will now commence recommending this to everyone I know until the end of time.

Bonus: the audiobook is narrated by the golden voice of Scott Brick. It just doesn’t get any better.

I really enjoy middle grade books. This one deals with some tough topics, but I think in a really good way. I listened to this one on audio; the narrator did a great job.

I loved this book! I’m a sucker for teenage mystery/thrillers with strong heroines that figure stuff out that grown detectives should be able to but for some reason don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ I really liked Pippa and her loyalty to finding the truth, but not disgracing her friends if she didn’t have to. I look forward to reading the next one in the series!

I loved this book with every piece of my heart. It was so fun and funny. It was my first Katherine Center novel and I just adored the way she wrote it. I felt like I was sitting with a bff listening to her tell me this hilarious and heartwarming story. 10/10 I recommend this book to anyone looking for a cute story that will leave you smiling and oh so happy.

The Author's Note alone is worth 5 stars. Don't skip that at the end 💜

Thank you, @netgalley @harpercollinsuk @onemorechapterhc for this delightful rom-com! Abby writes recaps of the popular reality-TV show The Stag (think The Bachelor) and her boss decides to send her to the set to get a behind-the-scenes look...as a contestant! I enjoyed the peek behind the curtain of reality TV, and I especially enjoyed Abby juggling between a man who she definitely doesn't want attention from, and a man she does want attention from! And am I the only one who thinks a guy getting jealous is just the cutest thing ever?

You'll need a box of Kleenex.

I finished this book with a small reading light in the middle of the night, blubbering like an idiot hoping I wouldn't wake up my husband.

I didn't love this book as much as IN THE WILD LIGHT, but I did really enjoy it. I love Jeff Zentner's writing style and I doubt I'll ever be disappointed when I read one of his works.
