Fun story, quick read, not much substance

There were a lot of interesting things presented here, but so much hypothesis is mixed with fact, it gets tiring. It is a hard thing, because sleep doesn't seem to be a "hard" science yet. What is true for one isn't necessarily true for another, so I like the trends that are pointed out, but don't like that they are presented as cold hard facts.

If these were indisputable facts, which they one day may be, there would be massive societal change.

This is a really cool book about a boy that decides to sail around the world by himself. It is less about sailing and more about the different cultures he discovers and his life as a sailor meeting all kinds of people and seeing different places.

The content is 4-5 stars, but I had a hard time sticking with it. I ended up reading it over the course of a few years.

This is a book that will stick with me for awhile.

2 stars from me, but 1 free star because I'm not the target demographic.

I read a suspense novel for a summer reading challenge.

I thought this book was surprisingly good. It at least held my attention, I could see how it would be very compelling for the intended audience

I agree with most of what was said. The theory seems to be good, but in many cases is taken too far. Also, I don't think the author has kids as many times kids won't do things without having made the choice themselves to do or play with something. Further, zero studies are ever cited, so this is basically all ideas and anecdotal evidence.

All that being said, I think the author is probably spot on concerning many things, and I believe the overall premise of the book is good

4 stars for a fiction book is about as good as it gets for me as I'm very much a non fiction person.

I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. I thought it looked kinda interesting and I needed a short book, but I really can't think of anything negative to say about this one.

The story moves well, involves some physics and the characters are engaging. I'll for sure pick up the rest of the series

Another good installment of the frontiers saga

First I need to qualify this by saying I accidentally got the abridged version.

This is one of the first books I've read about Lincoln and it was great! I'm not sure if I loved it so much because of the subject matter or just because it's a great book.

This book moved very quickly - too quickly if you asked me. I guess this is one of the hazards you run into with the abridged version. Both presidential elections were basically footnotes and right as u felt like I was starting to sink my teeth into a section, it ended.

I'm a big fan of Seward and while it was nice to have him featured prominently in the book, his role seemed diminished from what little I know about how things went.

Overall even with the pitfalls of being abridged, this was still a great book about one of the greatest people to live.

A deeper look into a conspiracy against George Washington that could have stopped the American revolution.

There are parts that aren't related to the plot against Washington (Boston/Dorchester heights) but for the most part this book stays right on target. It deals mostly with New York just before the British attacked and took the city.

I hadn't thought much about how quickly people could change their allegiance and how it was so hard to really know who the enemy was, but that is at the heart of this book and plot.

I love American revolution and George Washington books, and this one doesn't disappoint

There were a lot of interesting facts about the inside world of libraries and it was fun to learn of some of their inner workings.

The book was very well researched, as it dives very deeply into some topics. While I didn't get that into many of the deep dives, some people will love this book for that exact reason.

I appropriately borrowed this book from my library.
