Very enjoyable. I was worried with some many concurrent plot lines these books would become unmanageable, but this one was actually my favorite of the series I've read in awhile

This book helps show how racism still exists in America today. There are a lot of things still left to deal with.

My biggest issue with this book is that the author has set herself up as the ultimate authority, and if you disagree with her, you are a racist

This is the second time I've read this book in roughly a year. Since I knew what was coming, I was able to pick up on a lot more of the humor. I laughed out loud a few times (you would probably name our daughter Quaror was my favorite line in the book)

Overall this is a lot of fun and while the basis is astronomy, it gets into personal relationships, romance, intrigue and more.

You don't have to be a scientist to enjoy this. It's written at a level that everyone can understand and enjoy.

You can learn for yourself why the solar system of 9 planets that your grew up with has been amended to now only include 8 planets.

Highly recommended!

This is mostly a history of JPL. The women mentioned we an important part of it's history. There were a couple parts where it felt like the author was trying hard to include the women into the missions, but for the most part it for very well and I don't think they really bent history.

I wasn't expecting to get all the way to Cassini and Juno, so I was pleasantly surprised when they were mentioned.

The whole history in the book this from pre JPL (60s?) To about 2014. I'm much more interested in space exploration than missiles, so the latter 2/3 of the book was more interesting to me.

All in all a pretty good read

There were parts of this that I really enjoyed. I thought it started very slowly, but very enthralling and engaging once it got going about 1/3 of the way in.

It is amazing to me that the author was able to make everything that he did just looking at books and picking parts at a junkyard. Very inspirational

8.5/10

This book was a lot of fun. It should be called a brief history of Elon Musk and SpaceX, because that is what the majority of the book is about.

Maybe this is just because of the bias I already had before reading, but it seems to me that this portrays Musk as the good guy, Bezos as the bad guy that occasionally gets things right, and Branson as the guy in the background that nobody really cares about.

Fans of Musk and SpaceX will love this, I'm not so sure about fans of the other two. I loved it.

Everest books are always very interesting and unbelieveable to me, and this one is no exception.

It's amazing that anyone survives the cold, fatigue and hypoxia associated with Everest. This book stands as a warning that although people have climbed the mountain, it is by no means conquered

I thought most of this book was pretty forgettable, but that last quarter or so was pretty exciting
