I'm sorry to say I spent most of my time with this book hoping I would be done with it soon or thinking that it must get good sometime soon.
I am not a fan of historical fiction, so when I realized it was historical fiction it went from bad to worse. I would have given it 1 star, but there were some good insights to what it may have been like to have lived during WW2. The separation of families and friends must have been incredibly hard, especially because many times there was no reunion

The author brings up a couple good points (climate models not being accurate), but so much of this is basically propaganda. I won't get into a rebuttal here, but the author needs to learn that correlation is not causation, which is the basis of his argument.
Many of his criticisms of half truths, which exist on both sides of almost every argument including this one, at negating by him using half truths throughout the whole book.
Overall it had a couple good ideas sandwiched in a bunch of garbage

I wasn't much of a fan through the first half, which covers his time at ABC, I thought the second half as CEO of disney was interesting.
I have previously read Creativity, Inc, which is about Pixar, so it was interesting to read about disney buying them from a different perspective.
Ultimately I was disappointed that the whole book just felt like ladder diving and trying as hard as you can to make money, rather than someone passionate about disney and what it stood for. Salt, this is probably the case with most CEOs, that they only care about running the company, not necessarily about what the company is. It felt like an ego thing "I one of I played my cards right, I could be running this company one day"

This is a very high rating for me to give to a fiction book. I'm sorry to say, but simply being fiction it automatically loses 1 star from me.
I got this just wanting something to fill time while waiting for another library hold to come up and immensely enjoyed it. It is written for teens/young adults, but as a 35+ year old man I got drawn in to the story.
We learn about what life is like for teenagers who are different from "normal". Everybody is a human being and deserves to be treated with respect, and this book helps show us why.
While this book is about teenagers with disabilities, it is applicable to everyone that we meet in our lives who are inevitably different from ourselves. It helps show that everyone has their own background, their own challenges, and their own needs.
I am extremely happy that I picked this book up "on a whim".

This book is just not my style... Historical fiction and all.
It was well written with a good plot. I didn't know this library existed. It was fun to learn about, but ultimately this book was just not for me

I liked the overall theme of this book, but it just didn't hold me. To be fair I'm typically not a fan of fiction in general. There was also too much poetry for me, but I'm not the target market.

I'm not sure if I would have finished this book had I not listened to the audiobook. The first 25% or so moved pretty slow and I didn't find super interesting....
After that the book took off and became awesome. This is exactly what I was hoping for - a pretty complete history of the dinosaurs as far as we know. I like learning about all the places and people that have helped shape our knowledge of the dinosaurs.
My favorite chapter was the one dedicated to T Rex. I always thought it was a cool dinosaur, but learning about it in detail gave me a new level of appreciation.
Highly recommended if you are interested in learning more about dinosaurs than simply what you learned in school (most of which seems to have been wrong anyway - at least according to our current understanding).

I wasn't expecting a book about universal basic income, immigration, and other hot topics like these. I ate with the author's positions, although I don't think he made that good of a case on some points. This book is a good primer if you want to learn about universal basic income and other current social problems.

I enjoyed this book, but it just didn't grab me like I had hoped. It's hard for me to say why.

I thought this was just as good as the first one.
This was a very nice story that teaches us how the things we say and the way we treat others can have a huge effect, positive or negative.
