It's such an adorable story, i'm not a big fan of romance, but it was almost imposible to not fall in love with this beautiful story

Metamorphosis is the type of book that stays with you forever, the whole plot is a metaphor of how others opinions of ourselves can affect our perspective of the world and ourselves for better or for worse, in Samsa's case for worst. The physical metamorphosis that he experienced was a reflection of his deteriorated mental health, at the end hi loses all hope in himself and his family that he no longer fight for his life and ends up all alone in his suffering.

I enjoy the humor of the author, and the world building was solid and representation of the society of the writers time.

This is the only book of Hemingway that I'm going to read, he was extraordinary writer, theres no denying that, but his writing style and the themes of his books are not waht i usually enjoy and as a person i don't respect him. The book itself was at times a little boring, nonetheless it was reflective, is the type of book that doesn't change completely your life, but stays with you for a while.
