I didn't connect with this book at all.

I thought this book was good, but dragged a bit. The first half was strong; the second half slow-going. I felt the author could have cut a few parts/chapters out without affecting the story at all. Overall, a decent read. I'd recommend.

I saw this book referred to as the "man's Gone Girl". I don't think that's an accurate description, but it was good. Flowed well with suspense. I'll definitely read others by this author. Recommended.

I went back and forth b/w a 3 and 4 star rating, and finally settled on 4. I enjoyed this book and found myself wanting to keep returning to it, but it did have an element of "cheesiness" at times and a few things were predictible. It also seemed like the end was wrapped up a little too quickly. All in all it was a sweet cute story and a pretty quick read.

This book was fantastic. I read it in its entirety this weekend and I couldn't put it down. Very well-written and suspenseful without it feeling like a "mystery". I didn't feel a strong connection to the characters, but I did to the story. The author did a great job at dropping little gems of what would be coming later in the story throughout the story to keep you glued, but at the same time, not ruining it for you. I thought it was going in a completely different direction than it did, but that's ok. It was perfect the way it was. Highly recommend this book for when you have a couple free days with nothing planned, because you won't want to stop reading until you're finished.

Not her best.
