3.5🌟 my first emily henry book. definitely wasn’t the romance book i was expecting, but i loved seeing the relationship between nora and libby 🥹🩵 i really feel like this more kind of more about the sisters and their story than the romance between bora and charlie. but it was overall enjoyable. i’ll still continue to read other emily henry books, i’ve heard that i may like the others better!

editing to add that after talking to some friend emily henry and this book in particularly reads more as women’s fic than romance, which settles and explains my disappointment in this one. why is it labeled as contemporary romance on the back of the book? 😵‍💫😩 i’ll probably try re-reading it in the future knowing what i know now! 💛

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 omg i LOVED this book! it had me crying and laughing throughout. january & gus were such a treat and i loved her story so, so much. 🥹🩵 a book about an author with writer’s block that swaps genres with her college rival. chef’s kiss. beautiful.

this was an incredibly sweet and heartwarming book about finding yourself and trying your best to accomplish your dreams no matter what. i think it was a wonderful debut novel and i’ll continue to read more books by kristina forest. i also really loved the author’s note at the end of the book and for me, it made this book even more special.

so cute! i really enjoyed this one more than icebreaker 😅 aurora was a bit wild and russ more of a golden retriever. of course hannah grace will always bring the spice 🔥🌶️ so get ready! all of the side characters were lovable and i loved the friendships and found family they have 🩷

this book was so slow… definitely the slowest slow burn i’ve ever read. and it was a little cheesy… but cute in the beginning, even through the annoying parts. almost dnf’d a few times, but managed the finish the whole thing and definitely felt that this book just wasn’t for me.

a shy bookish girl and her neighbor, who’s actually her fave fantasy author that writes under a pen name 💛

cute story but some things did bug me about lily and nick 🙃 but not enough to dnf or hate on this book as a whole 🩵

I am excited to read about her sisters!

an emotional roller coaster. i read the physical and enjoyed the audiobook when i was out shopping. NOT ME CRYING IN THE MIDDLE OF TARGET. i love love loved getting to finally see joey happy
